Parkland Reads: One Book, One College is a project of Parkland College in Champaign, Illinois.

Statement of Purpose
The purpose of Parkland Reads: One Book, One College is to foster academic and civic engagement throughout the Parkland community over a shared work of literature. The integration of the book and its themes into classes, activities that involve a broad range of campus groups, talks by guest experts, and group discussions are all designed to expand the dialogue and deepen our community’s understanding and experience of the book.

How Can YOU Participate?
First, get the book: Check it out at the Parkland Library or buy your own copy at the campus bookstore and receive a discount. Then tell your friends about the book, and post to the blog! Check the calendar page for what’s happening!
